444.700 Tantalus repeater went off the air. visited the site found transmit radio blew a diode. swapped out tx/rx radios. Repeater back on the air at 17 watts again. Checked duplexer, transmitter and antenna system. All in good working condition, transmitter on frequency at .0001 deviation.
444.700 Repeater breathed back to life today after a little tweaking and tuning. The repeater is currently putting out 17 watts and we plan to increase this in time. IRLP node 3196 has been moved here for now while we test and experiment with putting together another node for this site in the future.

Aloha all, the 444.700 repeater is on the air as of 1745 November 12, 2008. It currently is listed as marginal as there seems to be a timing issure with the radio that needs to be worked out. Coverage so far is west oahu and windward side so far.
444.700 RX/449.700 TX, currently a PL (CTCSS) tone is on the receive side of 100 Hz.
Well, the new 444.7 repeater breathed to life yesterday afternoon at 1615. However the new antenna out of the box appears to have a problem with high swr. the repeater was shut down until we can verify the antenna problem and either replace it or use another one in the next few days.
Almost there though.
Added Road Runner High Speed ISP to the gateway replacing the clearwire crap ISP. All is running well now. I recommend dumping clearwire.
Planning a first time local Dstar net for next Sunday June 8, 2008 about 09:30 am. Both repeater (WH6DHT AND WH6DIG) will be linked together so you may use whichever repeater you would like. We may also have available an echolink connection to the dstar as well as a connection from one of the analog repeaters (to be determined) for this first time net as well. We hope to see as many of you as can come up on Sunday.

Installed new router and small UPS for limited power failures. Site is up and running normal. Plans for later are to install batteries at the site.
